Barcelona’s move for former defender Eric Garcia seemed pretty much a done deal, but it seems he may have gotten a little tangled.
The center-back has already agreed a deal to return to Camp Nou, but Barca seem to have broken some numbers and created little trouble.
As such, Barca have been in contact with Garcia to inform him that they will now offer a “smaller wage package” than before, according to Marca.
The report adds that it is unclear whether Garcia will be happy with what is being offered now or may be considering leaving Manchester City and going home.
It was previously reported that he has turned down clubs like Chelsea and Arsenal because he wants to return to Barca.
Garcia recently discussed moving to Barca while on international duty with Spain, saying it would be “special” to play alongside captain Lionel Messi, and it would still be a surprise if he doesn’t return to Camp Nou this summer.
