Bandits kidnapped Kanoa, a businessman, a Burn police vehicle

It was confirmed that one person was missing and a police patrol vehicle was razed to the ground after armed bandits stormed the area of ​​the local government of Minjibir in the state of Kano.

Cannes police spokesman DSP Abdullahi Haruna confirmed the incident to channel television.

“After the gunmen kidnapped the three men, we involved them in an armed battle during which they withdrew, leaving two people behind as they set fire to the patrol van.”

One resident, Bala Sani, told Channels television that gunmen arrived in the city at around 12.45pm, shooting sporadically around the Masaka city area, before abducting businessman Abdullah Kalos.

According to eyewitness statements, it was said that armed men stationed their men at all junctions in the city and engaged the police in an armed fight around 4:30 in the morning.

“We are currently in pursuit of the bandits to save the victims, as we believe some of them suffered bullet injuries,” police said.
