Arsenal can fulfill the wish of the midfielder of the dreams of Mikel Arteta, as revealed by Real Madrid’s transfer plans

Real Madrid’s plans to sign a long-term replacement for Karim Benzema could affect Arsenal.

Finding a successor to the Frenchman will not be easy, but two names that have been strongly associated with moving to the Santiago Bernabeu are Kylian Mbappe and Erling Haaland.

However, due to the financial impact of COVID-19 and the rules of financial fair play, money is very limited for the Los Blancos who would have to pay a fee of over £ 100 million to secure a job for at least one this summer.

And here Arsenal could play a big role in helping the La Liga giants complete one of their transfer missions.

Martin Odegaard and Dani Ceballos are currently on loan at Real Madrid’s Emirates Stadium.

Coincidentally, recent reports have suggested that gunner manager Mikel Arteta would like to keep both on his team for next season, and technical director Edu is currently working on jobs to make their moves last for the summer.

Arteta made no secret of his admiration for Ceballos and suggested last week that there were plans to discuss Odegaard’s long-term future at the end of the season.

“He’s a young leader,” Arteta was quoted as saying by Sky Sports. “He is very short here, but he has adapted very quickly. He respects the players and the staff more and more, and his weight in the team will increase every week.

“We have Martin for a few months from Real Madrid and first of all we have to make the most of this time with him to try to bring into the team all the qualities he has.

“At the end of the season we will sit together and decide where we can improve that relationship.

“Right now it’s not just up to us.”

Had Arsenal been able to secure transfers for both Odegaard and Ceballos, it would have greatly helped Real Madrid fund a move for Hollande or Mbappe this summer.

Furthermore, if the reports are to be believed, signing the aforementioned players would fulfill Arteta’s dream midfield wish.

In a potential financial incentive to the Gunners, according to transfermark estimates, offers for both midfielders may not be too expensive.

Ceballos is appreciated £ 28.8m , with Odegaard a little higher on £ 36m , so a double offer of 60 million pounds could be enough for the permanent signing of two players, and it would also increase the budget of Real Madrid to conclude an agreement for Halland or Mbappe.
