Apple plans to expand its ad business – FT

Apple Inc. (AAPL.O) plans to expand its advertising business by adding a second advertising spot in the “suggested” section of its App Store search page, the Financial Times reported Thursday.

The new ad slot, which will be introduced by the end of the month, will allow advertisers to promote their apps across the entire network, instead of responding to specific searches, the report said. (https://on.ft.com/3sG7Ikn)
