We have been waiting for an update for Apple TV for a long time. The current gen-5 device was launched back in 2017, and rumors claim that we will soon be able to get refreshments. Some say the new device will have more storage space and even a U1 chip that will turn it into a new Ultra Wideband base station, but the rumors don’t end there. Rumors also suggest that the new Apple TV would be a great purchase for anyone who loves games.
According to a Bloomberg report, we could finally refresh Apple TV next year. The new device is expected to have an upgraded remote control and an improved feature that will include a new processor and up to 128GB of storage. However, Mark Gurman also claims that this new Apple TV will focus on games.
“For next year, Apple plans to upgrade the box with a stronger focus on gaming, an updated remote control and a new processor. These changes will fix some problems with the Apple TV box, but the product will need to make another big leap – similar to the 2015 changes – to remain competitive in the long run. “
We also get information that suggests that the new Apple TV remote control will ship with the Find My app. This means it will be easier to find if it ever disappears, just as you can easily track a lost iPhone or iPad. Rumors also suggest that we could get a new A14 processor to run the show. However, the most relevant would go hand in hand with Apple Arcade, as the new Apple TV could run exclusive games that would not be available on existing models.

Another one of those things that could fall at any time. Apple is not currently shivering 😬😂

However, I wouldn’t hold my breath waiting for the new Apple TV, because we were waiting for the upgraded version to arrive from the first half of 2021, when Jon Prosser said that the new 4K version with 64 / 128GB versions with A12 processor was ready for delivery. But unfortunately, here we are, still waiting.
