AEW has announced a new digital show that will premiere this Friday on their YouTube channel. The company embraced its Twitter lunch to announce the show’s first look.
Named “Outside the Ring,” the show will be hosted by AEW’s behind-the-scenes interview with Lexy Nair. The first episode of the show will showcase AEW’s talent Abaddon as a guest, and a new episode comes out every Friday at 9:00 EST.
The presenter also could not hide her excitement and shared the news on Twitter that Abadon is the first guest on the show. The short clip shows Nair asking Abaddon a question about what makes her happy, an answer that viewers will only find out after the show comes out.
It looks like the guests will be holding a kayfaba during the conversation. This makes the show essential to watching, with extensive character development and narrative progress through back and forth between interviewers and guests.
Although AEW has aired episodes of Outside the Ring with guests such as Cody Rhodes and The Dark Order in the past, the show has not been a regular on the AEW program until this announcement.
AEW has expanded its programs in recent times
AEW has been continuously expanding its program since Dynamite debuted in October 2019. AEW: Dark debuted on YouTube just a week after Dynamite and has since grown with several top stars in the company who have appeared regularly on the show.
Last month, AEW launched a spinoff for Dark called AEW: Dark Elevation, and several upcoming stars were given the opportunity to show off their skills. The show features WWE legend Paul Wight as a color commentator.
