AEW Dynamite: Darby Allin defends the title, gets a backup from Sting

March 25 (UPI) – TNT champion Darby Allin defended his title against John Silver of The Dark Order in the AEW Dynamite main event.

Silver pulled all the stations to try to defeat Allin, who didn’t want to stay down. The silver filled at Allin’s outside the ring and crashed into the steel barricade.

The Dark Order silver group then surrounded Allin, who took out his partner Sting. The professional wrestling legend stood next to the entrance ramp with his signature baseball bats to make sure the match went smoothly.

The champion launched into The Dark Order with the top rope Coffin Drop, with Allin crashing into most members of the group. Allin later won the match with Code Red and remained the TNT champion.

Allin and Sting respected Silver after that. Matt Hardy then jumped over the barricade and grabbed Allin, which led to a big fight.

Hardy brought his associates Private Entertainment, Butcher, Blade and Bunny to a fight with Allina, Sting and The Dark Order. Tay Conti also joined the brawl to attack Zeka as Dynamite came out of the air.

Also at Dynamite, AEW world champion Kenny Omega was in action against Matt Sydal. If Sydal could win, he would earn a future championship game against Omega.

Sydal managed to lower the Light Spiral, but Omega survived. Sydal then tried Meteor, which Omega opposed by delivering two V-triggers.

Omega stopped Sydal from performing the Shooting Star Press and delivered a third V-trigger followed by a One-Winged Angel to win the match.

Pinnacle, a new MJF group that also includes Dax Hardwood and Cash Wheeler of FTR, Shawn Spears, Wardlow and manager Tully Blanchard, had their first match as a group at Dynamite.

FTR and Spears, along with Dante Martin, took on Griff Garrison and Brian Pillman Jr. from The Varsity Blonds. MJF, Wardlow and Blanchard watched the match from the ring.

Spears won the match for The Pinnacle after a C4 Death Valley driver landed on Martin. Wardlow subsequently attacked Pillman as The Pinnacle talked to Tony Schiavone.

MJF teased Chris Jericho, The Inner Circle, and said he had a gift for The Pinnacle next week.

Other moments from Dynamite were the hangman Adam Page who defeated Caesar Bononi; Lance Archer calls Sting; Dr. Britt Baker boasts the history she made last week during her main tournament match against Thunder Ross; Christian Cage challenges Frankie Kazarian to a game next week; QT Marshall and Cody Rhodes agreed to an exhibition match; Tay Conti defeats Nyla Rose; and Penta El Zero Miedo and Rey Fenix ​​of brothers Lucha and Laredo Kid by defeating AEW team world champions Tato Matt and Nick Jackson of The Young Bucks and Brandon Cutler.

Laredo Kid won the match after performing a Spanish fly on Cutler. Omega then ran to the ring and attacked Laredo Kid before asking them join him.

Omega wanted The Young Bucks to throw a signature move, but Young Bucks went with Cutler. The Lucha brothers then attacked Omega before his friends, the Good Brothers, attended.
