After the event in Captain America: Winter Soldier discovered that HYDRA had long ago been infiltrated by SHIELD, it was clear that the organization was not long for this world. The SHIELD no longer existed as before, leaving behind a void that took some time to fill.

As WandaVision clearly speaking, however, Maria Rambeau founded the SWORD organization which effectively stepped into the place that SHIELD remained. Although Monica Rambeau has not yet taken control of SWORD, fans are hoping she will take it over soon, lest Hayward turn the organization into another evil MCU organization.

9 Alluded to multiple universes

WandaVision - Evan Peters as Pietro

Simply by introducing Evan Peters as Pietro Maximoff, WandaVision has completely changed the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Earlier in the MCU, Aaron Taylor-Johnson played the role of Quicksilver, the twin brother of Wanda Maximoff, aka Scarlet Witch. However, the character apparently died Avengers: The Age of Ultron.

Meanwhile, in Fox X-Men films, Evan Peters played the role of Quicksilver. It is obvious that this version of the character appeared in WandaVision, thus introducing the concept of multiple universes. Obviously, the characters can also cross universes, which leaves some fans amazed.

8 Potentially represented mutants

After Monica Rambeau was kicked out of Westview, Wanda’s magic seems to have changed her on a cellular level. Fans wonder if she is becoming a Spectrum, as she was in the comics; however, some other fans are wondering if this is a potential way to introduce mutants to the MCU.

Everyone in Westview is supposed to change in a similar way, creating an entire population of mutated individuals. In addition, Billy and Tommy, children of Wanda and Vision, were born with abilities, which implies that this is also possible for births from other Westview citizens.

7 Opened the door to multiple versions of existing characters

WandaVision - Vision, Pietro and Wanda

Because the version of Pietro Maximoff that appeared in WandaVision it is not a version that previously existed in MCU, but previously existed in Fox X-Men time sequence, fans are looking forward to the next one Spider-Man film.

As the third Spider-Man the film at MCU stars actors from the film Sam Raimi Spider-Man trilogy and Wonderful Spider-Man movies, it became clear that WandaVision establishes this as a possibility. Pietro’s second appearance in WandaVision opens the door to multiple Peter Parkers, multiple Doc Ocks, and so on and so forth.

6 They brought young avengers into space

For the first time, the young avengers were officially introduced to the MCU. Introducing the twins Billy and Tommy, who are Marvel Comics fans better known as Wiccan and Speed, the Young Avengers have entered the Marvel Cinematic Universe. As Skrull and Kree are introduced to the MCU, fans are waiting for Teddy Altman, aka Hulkling, in She-Hulk or Captain Marvel 2; they also hope that Kid Loki will potentially appear in Loki.

Kate Bishop, also known as Hawkeye, will appear in Hawkeye, and America Chavez, or Miss America, will be inside Dr. Strange in the multiverse of madness. In addition, Nathaniel Richards, the founder of Young Avengers, is one of the versions of Kang, which will appear in The Ant and the Wasp Man: Quantumania. Young Avengers seem to be slowly gathering around the universe.

5 Monica Rambeau becomes a spectrum

Monica (Teyonah Parris) at WandaVision

After Monica Rambeau was forcibly kicked out of Westview by Wanda Maximoff, SWORD’s best medical equipment failed to get an accurate medical reading of her body. It is possible that this mutation will be just that, a mutation. Still, some fans are wondering if this is the catalyst for Monica’s transformation into Spectrum.

In the comics, Monica Rambeau is once hit by a charge from an energy-disrupting weapon, overloading her system with extra-dimensional energy that turned her into a superhero Spectrum. It seems that staying in Westview could be that superpower catalyst, instead of an energy beam.

4 Inherited superpowers exist now

WandaVision twins as newborns

Wanda Maximoff, at MCU, like her brother, experimented to give her superpowers. While Wanda was a mutant in the comic, MCU still couldn’t use the word “mutant” due to rights issues, so the experiment went wrong instead. However, Disney and MCU were given the rights to the X-Men and began introducing elements they had never been able to before.

Next to the Foxes X-Men version of Pietro, Wanda gives birth to two children who inherit abilities from her and Pietro. This implies that they inherited their mutations – and that mutations are hereditary in general, thus bringing back the whole concept of mutants and X-Men.

3 More detailed narration

WandaVision Episode 6

The film format worked for the Infinity Saga for a long time, but after so many films, MCU got into some formula. By breaking down that formulaic format and paying more attention to their television shows, MCU gives more space to each of their individual stories.

Instead of being one movie, WandaVision it has nine episodes, and many fans believe that this episode format is far better for entertaining comics than movies at the moment. If anything, WandaVision it proves it, and the audience hopes Falcon and winter soldier will continue the trend.

2 More focus on – & Hype for – MCU TV

Bucky and Sam in a childishly beautiful homeland.

With success WandaVision, there is a greater focus on television shows coming out of the MCU. Fans revisited older MCU shows Daredevil, especially with the recent news that Matt Murdock is likely to appear in the next one Spider-Man film.

As WandaVision proving to be mostly successful and incredibly enjoyable, fans are getting more and more excited about the upcoming MCU shows. Future Disney + shows love Falcon and the Winter Soldier, Loki, i Hawkeye they are getting increasing praise from fans, who are now excited that this branch of MCU is not only successful but maybe even more successful from movies.

Wanda (Elizabeth Olsen) using her powers on WandaVision

Later Avengers: Endgame saw the end of three of the original six main Avengers – Iron Man, Captain America and Black Widow – it became clear that a new team of Avengers was in the making. Some expect Wanda Maximoff to be the new leader of the time, as she is one of the last remaining members of the old days.

Still, others wonder if Sokol and the Winter Soldier may be the new leaders. In both cases, WandaVision is a show that drives it all and changes the landscape of the MCU.
